Who You Gonna Call? “The Real Ghostbusters,” the popular Saturday morning series based on Ivan Reitman’s hit comedy, moves to prime time for an animated half-hour special scheduled to air in fall, 1989, on ABC. Reitman, who is producing and directing a sequel to “Ghostbusters” for a summer ‘89, theatrical release, will serve as “executive consultant” on the special. The top-rated cartoon show in ABC’s kidvid lineup, “The Real Ghostbusters” was expanded to an hour earlier this fall.
