A fire in a storage room forced employees to evacuate a 4-story office building Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
The fire occurred about 3:45 p.m. in a storage unit between two offices in the 27400 block of Los Altos Road, according to Kathleen Cha, Orange County Fire Department spokeswoman.
The two-alarm blaze was contained within 16 minutes, but there was heat damage to the telephone and computer systems, Cha said. Investigators had not yet determined a cause or damage figure Tuesday night.
Cha did not know how many people were evacuated.
