Firefighters said they discovered a body inside a Calabasas house gutted by fire Tuesday.
The body was found in the charred remains of the 2-story house in the 5400 block of Parkmor Road, said Capt. Derek Reyna of the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The body was burned beyond recognition and has not been identified, Reyna said.
There were no other injuries in the 8 p.m. blaze, Reyna said. It took 20 firefighters about 15 minutes to extinguish the blaze, whose cause is under investigation, he said.
