Malima Kiimova and Sergei Ponomarenko of the Soviet Union won the ice dancing title in the European Figure Skating Championships at Birmingham, England, earning their country’s third straight gold medal of the tournament.
The four-time World silver medalists received two perfect marks of 6.0 as they led a 1-2-3 Soviet sweep.
