Crespi Quarterback Redell Verbally Commits to Stanford

Ron Redell, who passed for 1,662 yards and 9 touchdowns as a senior quarterback at Crespi High last season, made a verbal commitment Wednesday to attend Stanford on a football scholarship, according to Bill Redell, his father and former Crespi coach.
Redell said that his son intends to sign a letter of intent with the Pacific 10 Conference school on Feb. 8.
