The City Council is soliciting residents to submit ideas or designs for a city seal. Submissions can be in written form or a simple design, city spokesman Don Porter said.
The city will likely seek bids from professional designers for the final design, which may incorporate residents’ suggestions. “We’re open to anything that captures the feel and spirit of Dana Point,” Mayor Judy Curreri said.
Deadline is the close of business on Feb. 24. Submissions should be sent to city offices at 33282 Golden Lantern St., Dana Point, Calif. 92629.
