Controversy Over Tower
It appears that we are going to have “there you go again” time at the White House, and “the sleaze goes on” time once more with the Tower imbroglio. The various dubious characters who President Reagan appointed or attempted to appoint (in spite of the lessons he should have learned from the stench left by the Nixon Administration) have left an unpleasant and harmful stain on the office of the presidency. Is Bush’s judgment so faulty and his sense of ethics in government so flawed that he cannot see that he must not involve himself with such people as Tower?
We deserve better than this from our President as nominees for the top offices of our nation.
