Former Soviet diplomat and KGB agent Vladimir Sakharov will be at Orange Coast College on Tuesday through Thursday as part of the college’s 1988-89 Visiting Scholar in Residence series. Sakharov, who defected to the United States a decade ago, will participate in an opening-night presentation, “Bush-Gorbachev: A New Chapter in U.S.-Soviet Relations.” Sakharov will also speak to a variety of classes during his 3-day stay.
