Sundstrand Returns as Contractor: Sundstrand Corp., which pleaded guilty to defrauding the federal government in October, announced that it has cleared the final barriers to resuming defense contractor work. The firm said its security clearance and export license have been returned after the Jan. 26 lifting of the suspension from government contracting, and the government said the disclosure statements regarding cost and accounting procedures are “adequate.”
