Lifeguards Find Body of Woman in Lagoon

Lifeguards at Bolsa Chica State Beach on Wednesday found the body of a woman floating in an inland lagoon off Pacific Coast Highway near Warner Avenue, a spokesman for the Sheriff’s Department said.
The unidentified woman, believed to be in her 60s, weighed about 150 pounds and was about 5 feet 4 inches tall. She was fully clothed. The body was found about 11:20 a.m. and showed no signs of trauma, Lt. Richard J. Olson said.
