Two young Chula Vista men were killed early Monday when their car, going about 60 mph, crashed into a flatbed truck parked on Beyer Way, police said.
Killed were Timothy W. Guernsey, 21, of the 300 block of Brightwood Avenue, a student at Southwestern College, and 19-year-old Anthony M. Sarcaz, of the 1300 block of Hilltop Drive, a salesman for Sears Roebuck & Co..
Authorities did not know why the car crashed into the truck about 1:35 a.m.
