LOCAL : Fullerton Man Killed at Freeway Exit

A Fullerton man was killed early this morning when he was thrown from the passenger side of a car as it overturned on an exit from the Orange Freeway, California Highway Patrol officers said.
Robert Botchett, 26, of Fullerton died at the scene at 12:15 a.m., at the Imperial Highway exit from the northbound lanes. The car flipped after the driver went over the side of the exit ramp, officers said.
The driver, Ray Stanhope, 28, of Fullerton, was treated for minor injuries at St. Jude’s Hospital in Fullerton and booked at Orange County Jail on suspicion of drunk driving and vehicular manslaughter. His bail was set at $5,000, officers said.
