Arvinder Sood was appointed senior vice president and head of Swaps & Capital Markets Group Origination for First Interstate Bank Ltd., a subsidiary of Los Angeles-based First Interstate Bancorp. The unit that Sood will oversee, headquartered in New York, specializes in options on swaps, structured deals and other interest-rate risk management products.
