More than 200 people attended “Portfolio ‘89” at the Huntington Beach civic center Saturday, raising about $10,000 for fine arts programs in the city. Sponsored by the Arts Associates of Huntington Beach, the event included an art auction at which guests snapped up the more than 100 donated works. Jazz, a magic show and a buffet donated by 11 local restaurants rounded off the evening’s entertainment.
