Money for Chic Offices, but Not the Homeless

Your article about luxurious management offices atop Los Angeles’ tallest buildings (“A View From the Top,” June 5) seemed a poignant reminder of productless companies that always have money for chic office buildings and executive bonuses but never capital for the new plants and machine tools that would create jobs for the homeless who live inside the filthy cardboard boxes on the streets far below.
