McEnroe Way Off Base When Rapping Chang
I never thought I would agree with John McEnroe, but he was absolutely right when he said that the young tennis players are getting away with murder.
Case in point: Mass murderer Michael Chang. In two weeks he killed Eduardo Masso, Pete Sampras, Francisco Roig, Ivan Lendl, Ronald Agenor, Andrei Chesnokov and Stefan Edberg.
And in the slaying of Lendl, Chang inflicted cruel and unusual punishment when he came from two sets down to complete the execution.
Why couldn’t he have shown the same compassion that McEnroe had in the 1984 French Open when McEnroe was up two sets in the final and Lendl came back to win in five sets?
If killer Chang is convicted, he should be sentenced to the “pits of the world” and be forced to watch reruns of McEnroe’s court antics until he reaches age 30.
