The wife of Hugh Green has filed a waiver to drop charges of spouse battery against the Miami Dolphin linebacker, saying news accounts about the football player’s arrest were blown out of proportion.
Green, according to a police report, admitted striking his wife, Monique, 21, Saturday night. But she decided to drop the charges after meeting with a counselor.
