Arts Park Poll: So What?
So 61% of 632 people surveyed, that’s 385 people out of over 1 million living in the San Fernando Valley, are in favor of the Arts Park. Wow.
The survey also shows that of these 385 people, 39% (150 people) would actually visit the Arts Park occasionally.
Well, if that’s not a good reason to build this $50-million temple to the developers, we don’t know what is. If the powers that be really want to find out how Valley residents feel, let them ask all of us. And just how were those survey questions worded anyway?
The Sepulveda Basin is the only green space left in the Valley for people and animals. For at least these two residents (and probably the geese), let it be.
