Blanket Policy: Is your blanket bigger than a king-size bedspread from Bloomingdale’s? If so, it won’t be allowed at the popular free concerts in New York’s Central Park. New ground rules have been put into effect because some music lovers turned into space hogs: one brought a tarpaulin big enough for 200 fans. Concertgoers traditionally arrive Monday mornings to roll out their blankets and stake out territory for the Monday evening symphony and opera concerts.
