After seven years as chief correspondent for ABC’s “World News Tonight,” Richard Threlkeld, whose contract wasn’t renewed by ABC, is returning to CBS News, for which he previously worked 15 years. Threlkeld, whose wife, Betsy Aaron, is a CBS News correspondent, rejoins CBS on Aug. 28.
