Olympic Native Wins Feature at Del Mar

DEL MAR — Olympic Native, with Robbie Davis aboard for his third win of the afternoon, beat favored Speedratic by 1 3/4 lengths in the $50,000 feature race Thursday at Del Mar.
Olympic Native covered the 6 1/2 furlongs in 1:15 1/5 for his second win of the meeting. Sent off as fourth choice by the crowd of 13,696, Olympic Native returned $15, $7 and $4 and earned $27,500.
Speedratic, the 7-5 favorite ridden by Gary Stevens, returned $3.20 and $3. Pinecutter, with Corey Black up, paid $3.40.
