Comarco Inc. reported a net profit of $373,000 for the quarter ended July 30, 24% higher than the $301,000 posted for the period last year. Revenue for the second quarter of fiscal 1990 declined 5%, to $22 million from $23.1 million.
Net income for the first half totaled $727,000. For the first six months last year, the company earned $5.5 million, of which $4.8 million was from an exchange of common stock for convertible debentures.
The company incurred income tax expenses of $75,000 and $109,000 for the second quarter and first half of this year, respectively. In the prior-year periods, the company incurred no income tax expenses.
Comarco, based in Anaheim, provides computer-based products and services to the government and commercial and industrial markets.
