STANTON : Drum, Bugle Corps Looking for Cadets

The Kingsmen Drum and Bugle Corps is holding an open house Saturday for young Stanton residents interested in joining the Kingsmen Cadets, a new marching group that will represent the city in local parades and performances.
The Cadets are open to boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 16. No previous music or marching experience is necessary. The Kingsmen provide free instruments and training in brass instruments, drums, color guard and marching techniques.
The open house will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Kingsmen Corps Hall at 7455 Katella Ave. For more information, contact Jeff Hammons or Richard Oliverio at (714) 821-5636.
