UCLA to Face AIA in First Exhibition

The UCLA basketball team plays Athletes in Action tonight at 7:30 at Pauley Pavilion in the first of two exhibition games before its season opener Nov. 25 against Santa Clara.
The Bruins’ starting lineup is expected to include Gerald Madkins, a 6-foot-3 sophomore guard who missed last season because of a broken pelvis suffered in a traffic accident 16 months ago.
Madkins will be joined in the starting lineup by holdovers Trevor Wilson and Don MacLean at forwards, Kevin Walker at center and Darrick Martin at guard.
The UCLA women’s team will play the national team of Spain at 5:15 p.m.
