Wonder to Play for Schools: Entertainer Stevie Wonder will headline a benefit concert in January to raise money for inner-city students and their schools. “Rejoice in Los Angeles,” set for Jan. 6 at the Great Western Forum in Inglewood, will raise money for The Inner City Foundation of Excellence, which helps combat education problems in the inner city. While other performers joining Wonder in the concert have not yet been announced, Wonder said he will coordinate a Celebrity Choir--scheduled to include Barry Bostwick, Vikki Carr, Marla Gibbs, Danny Glover, Robert Guillaume, Louis Gossett Jr., Edward James Olmos, Charlene Tilton, Clifton Davis and others--for the concert’s grand finale.
