Officials Seek Help Identifying Body

The Sheriff-Coroner Department appealed for help Thursday in identifying a man found dead in a drainage ditch in Anaheim, the victim of an apparent drug overdose
The badly decomposed body was discovered Sept. 13 in the ditch behind the 1500 block of Katella Avenue. The man was described as being Anglo, 21 to 25 years of age, 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 140 pounds. He was wearing black pants, white socks, Pro Wings Size 7 shoes and a cloth web belt with an E on the buckle.
Coroner’s officials ask that anyone who may know the man’s identity call (714) 647-7400 and refer to coroner’s case 89-04825.
