U.S. Army Helicopter Crashes; Pilot Killed

WUERZBURG, West Germany — .S. Army helicopter on night maneuvers crashed near this town, killing the pilot and injuring another crew member, the Army said Friday. Neither was identified.
The Army said the accident occurred Thursday when the OH-58C helicopter hit a cable attached to a high-tension-wire pylon.
In Washington, Rep. Frank McCloskey (D-Ind.) said the Army told him the crash took place during a night-vision goggles mission. He has urged an investigation into the safety of the goggles.
