NCAA WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL : CS Long Beach Advances to Final

HONOLULU — All-American outside hitter Tara Cross had 18 kills and 16 digs, and Cal State Long Beach took control of the match from the outset in a 15-6, 11-15, 15-10, 15-7 victory over Texas Arlington Thursday night in the semifinals of the NCAA Division I women’s volleyball championships.
Long Beach is scheduled to play the winner of the UCLA-Nebraska match in Saturday’s final.
Antoinnette White had a team-high 21 kills and 16 digs in leading the 49ers, 31-5 and winners of 21 of their last 22 matches. Junior Vicki Pullins had five blocks.
