WOMEN’S BASKETBALL : Wilkerson Leads Long Beach Win

Junior guard Dana Wilkerson scored a career-high 34 points to lead Cal State Long Beach women’s basketball team to an 89-66 victory over Northwestern Louisiana Thursday night at Long Beach’s University Gym.
Wilkerson made 14 of 23 shot attempts from the floor and had a team-high 14 rebounds.
Center Angie Lee provided CS Long Beach (4-1) with strong inside play with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Pam Hudson led Northwestern Louisiana (2-4) with 23 points.
