Residents Given Buckets for Recycling Program
- Share via
Recycling buckets have been distributed to West Hollywood residents in preparation for the second phase of the city’s voluntary curbside recycling program, which starts in early January.
Residents of single-family homes, duplexes and triplexes received three buckets for trash that can be recycled: one for plastic bottles and aluminum cans, a second for newspapers and a third for glass bottles.
The city is creating a cash bonus system to encourage participation in the voluntary recycling program. The first collections will start Jan. 2. Recycled materials will be picked up on regular trash collection days.
