No. 2 Edison Upset, 35-34

Long Beach Wilson High School used a slow-down game to upset Edison, the county’s second-ranked boys’ basketball team, 35-34, Wednesday at Long Beach.
Edison (11-4) had a chance to win, but Tom Tyler’s 25-foot shot missed at the buzzer.
Bill Martineau led Edison with 12 points. Wilson’s Sheldon Grigsby had 15.
