Robin Elson Murder Acquittal
The jury is to be applauded for recognizing that Robin Elson and her children were being plundered daily by Jack Elson, not being merely “frustrated” as claimed by Denis Petty, the prosecutor. His suggestion that Mrs. Elson could have left the state is grossly irresponsible. With three children to protect from this loathsome man and years of abuse it would not have been an easy task to escape that house even if she had a sound body to do so.
Who can possibly believe Jack Elson was not a real threat to his wife, children and frightened neighbors? Only the prosecuting attorney who lost the case.
I greatly admire the woman, who has proven she is what mothers are meant to be--protective of their children at all costs.
