Grove Shakespeare Festival Announces ‘Twelfth Night’ Cast

GARDEN GROVE — The Grove Shakespeare Festival has set the casting for “Twelfth Night, Or As You Will,” which opens Jan. 19 at the Gem Theatre. The major leads are to be John-Frederick Jones as Malvolio; Carl Reggiardo as Orsino; Kerry Noonan as Viola, and Alicia Wollerton as Olivia.
Jones previously appeared at the Grove’s Festival Amphitheatre in the title role of “Julius Caesar” and as Claudius in “Hamlet.” He was last seen as Mr. Bohun in Shaw’s “You Never Can Tell” at South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa. Reggiardo starred at the Gem as Sherlock Holmes in “Sherlock’s Last Case” and was seen this summer as de Guiche in the Grove’s “Cyrano de Bergerac.”
Noonan, previously in the Grove’s “Two Gentlemen of Verona,” has played at SCR in “Going for the Gold” and “A Christmas Carol.” Wollerton has appeared as Luciana in the Grove’s “The Comedy of Errors” and as Cordelia in the Grove’s “King Lear.”
Also cast: Steve Henry as Sir Toby Belch, Steve Peterson as Sir Andrew Eguecheeke and Gary Bell as Feste.
