The Detroit bar owner who drove the pickup truck that crashed Christmas night, killing former baseball manager Billy Martin, remained hospitalized while his attorney pleaded his case in court.
William Reedy, 53, a longtime friend of the five-time New York Yankee manager, was scheduled to arraigned before Town of Fenton (N.Y.) Justice P. Murray Benjamin on charges of driving while intoxicated.
