Stanley Wilson, suspended the morning of the 1989 Super Bowl for snorting cocaine in his hotel room, said in the February issue of Penthouse magazine that he conspired to buy the drugs with Cincinnati teammates Eddie Brown, Daryl Smith and Rickey Dixon.
Wilson, now in drug rehabilitation and bagging groceries in Phoenix, is quoted as saying he began talking with Smith and Dixon about buying cocaine as soon as they arrived in Miami for the game against the San Francisco 49ers. He said he also took drugs with the two players.
All three players and their agents denied the allegations.
