Seton Hall has recruited Arturas Karnishovas, 18, a Soviet junior basketball player who plans to enroll in the Big East school later this month, according to Big East Briefs, a private newsletter.

The newsletter said Karnishovas, a 6-8 forward, now lives in Alameda, Calif., with Golden State guard Sharunas Marchilionis, who starred for the Soviet Olympic team in Seoul and, like Karnishovas, is a native of Lithuania.
