Pacific Comes Back, but Utah State Wins in Overtime

STOCKTON — Kendall Youngblood scored six points in overtime for Utah State as his team pulled out a 72-70 Big West Conference basketball victory over Pacific on Thursday night.
Allen Gordon and Rich Jardine scored 13 points apiece for Utah State, 10-7 overall and 4-2 in the conference. Pacific’s Tigers (9-7, 2-5) came back after trailing, 40-26, at halftime, and Dell Demps’ layup with 31 seconds remaining in regulation tied the score, 60-60, and sent the game into overtime.
Demps had 21 points.
