Shareholder Suit Filed Against First Executive: A class-action shareholder suit was filed Thursday in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles accusing First Executive Corp. of artificially maintaining the company’s stock price by concealing losses in its junk bond portfolio. The suit was filed on the same day First Executive announced that it was allowing its largest shareholder to make a bid for the insurance firm and less than a week after the firm announced a major fourth-quarter loss. First Executive officials could not be reached for comment. (Filed Jan. 25, 1990. Case No. CV90-0388 RJK(Ex)
