29 Muslim Protesters Killed by India Forces

SRINAGAR, India — Security forces killed at least 29 people and wounded 45 in Kashmir today when they fired on Muslim protesters demanding independence from India, an Indian news agency said.
The United News of India said troops shot at demonstrators shouting anti-India slogans.
