MiniScribe Receives 3 Buyout Bids: MiniScribe, a troubled Longmont, Colo., maker of data storage devices, said it has received three preliminary bids from potential buyers and expects at least two formal bids later this week. MiniScribe, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Jan. 1, would not disclose the names of the bidders or the value of their offers. The company faces a court-imposed April 4 deadline to find a buyer.
