Nadia Comaneci, the former Romanian gymnast who became famous at the 1976 Olympic Games, is living with friends in Montreal and looking for work as a gym teacher, a newspaper reported.
Comaneci escaped from her homeland last fall with the help of fellow countryman Constantin Panait, who at the time was working in Florida as a roofer.
She said that in an interview that contrary to many published reports, she was not romantically involved with Panait after her escape.
