Westlake’s Eby to Attend UCLA

Westlake High’s Mike Eby gave an oral commitment to UCLA on Friday after limiting Channel Islands to one hit in the Warriors’ 1-0 Marmonte League victory.

Eby, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound senior left-hander, has a career record of 16-7 at Westlake and holds five school records. Eby is 4-0 this season with an earned-run average of 0.77. He narrowed his choices to Cal State Northridge and UCLA.
