Bank Robber Takes $1,200 in La Habra

LA HABRA — A man suspected of robbing at least two other banks stole $1,200 Friday from the Sanwa Bank on West La Habra Boulevard, police said.
The robbery occurred about 1:40 p.m., La Habra Police Sgt. Phil Stufflebean said. The bandit, who indicated to the teller that he was armed, was seen fleeing in a late model red Buick sedan, Stufflebean said.
He said the bandit is believed to have recently robbed two other banks in the area.
The bandit was described as a brown-haired white man in his early 20s, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds and with severe acne around his mouth.
