Freeway’s Northbound Lanes to Be Closed

All lanes of the northbound Long Beach Freeway in East Los Angeles will be closed from midnight tonight to 5 a.m. Thursday to allow the county Department of Public Works to widen the 1st Street Bridge, Caltrans officials said.
Motorists will be detoured off of the freeway at the 3rd Street off-ramp, then proceed north on Ford Boulevard to Floral Drive, where they will be able to re-enter the freeway.
