Gloria Estefan Sues: Gloria Estefan has filed a lawsuit against the trucking firms and drivers involved in a highway accident in which she broke her back. The suit, filed in U.S. District Court in Scranton, Pa., seeks unspecified damages. But Estefan’s lawyer said the singer would try to recover millions of dollars in performing fees he said she lost because of the accident. Estefan, the lead singer for the Miami Sound Machine, was injured March 20 when the band’s bus was hit from behind by a tractor-trailer on a snow-covered highway near Scranton.
