A kilogram of cocaine worth $100,000 on the street was confiscated and two men were arrested during a narcotics bust, police said Saturday.
The arrests and the seizure of the cocaine marked the end of a one-week narcotics investigation, said Lt. Gary Bachman of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.
Arrested Friday at the Westlake Plaza Hotel in Thousand Oaks was Danny Duran, 26, of Van Nuys, Bachman said.
Andres Galindo, 48, of Van Nuys was arrested in Van Nuys shortly afterward, he said.
The investigation involved officers from the Sheriff’s Department, the California Highway Patrol and the Simi Valley Police Department, he said.
The two men were being held Saturday at Ventura County Jail, Bachman said.
