Gardena vice officers arrested 25 men Friday on the 14800 block of south Western Avenue during a prostitution sting.
The men were arrested at a local motel after they approached female undercover officers to solicit sex, Officer Dave Burch said.
All but two of the men were booked on a single charge of soliciting prostitution and were released at the motel, he said. Two men were taken to the station and booked on an additional charge of being drunk in public.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies assisted in the sting by conducting a sweep of Rosecrans Avenue nearby, where they arrested six women on prostitution charges, Burch said.
