WORLD IN BRIEF : BRITAIN : Bomb Kills Soldier; Second Is Wounded

A bomb blast outside an army recruiting office in London killed a British sergeant and wounded another, and the armed forces minister said the attack was part of a “campaign of terror” by Irish nationalists. The rush-hour explosion in north London came two days after a bomb planted by the Irish Republican Army injured seven people at an army education center in the southern part of the capital.
