Don Muse, assistant executive officer of the California Athletic Commission since last August, has resigned.
Muse was appointed to the state boxing post temporarily and was thought to be a strong candidate for the permanent job. However, apparently he had policy differences with Ken Gray, the commission’s Sacramento-based executive officer.
