Malibu : Official Backs Candidates

A member of the California Coastal Commission has endorsed three candidates for City Council in the June 5 election.
Madelyn Glickfeld, who lives in Malibu, announced that she is supporting Mike Caggiano, Seymour (Sy) Sudar and Larry Wan for seats on the five-member council.
Caggiano and Sudar have been active with a citizens advisory panel that deals with issues related to a proposed regional sewer system the county wants to build in Malibu. Wan was president of the 2,000-member Malibu Township Council, a pro-cityhood group, until resigning to run for the City Council.
